We collect personal information appropriately and use it only within the purposes described in this Policy. We will not provide your information to third parties beyond what is described in this Policy, except with your consent or as required by law.
The following information may be collected across the services we provide:
Name / display name
Purpose: Account identification, display within the Service
Email address
Purpose: Account authentication, identity verification, important notices
Profile photo (when signing in with Google)
Purpose: Displaying your profile within the Service
Language and time zone settings
Purpose: Optimizing displayed language
Your name/display name, email address, and profile photo are obtained through sign-in via your Google Account or Apple ID. Your language and time zone settings are obtained from your device's operating system settings.
Firebase (Authentication / Cloud Firestore)
Provider: Google LLC
Purpose: Account authentication, data storage
Google Sign-In
Provider: Google LLC
Purpose: Account login
Sign in with Apple
Provider: Apple Inc.
Purpose: Account login
We grant these providers access to your information only to the extent necessary to operate the Service. We do not share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Please note that servers operated by the above providers may be located outside Japan.
You may request disclosure, correction, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us through our contact form. We will respond within a reasonable time after verifying your identity.
In some services, you can delete your account (including the associated personal information) yourself from within the app's settings. See the service-specific section below for details.
Our Service is not designed primarily for children under the age of 13.
We may update this Policy from time to time without prior notice. The updated Policy takes effect as soon as it is posted on this page.
This section describes information handling specific to "Ohayooo," the app we provide. Where not addressed here, the common sections above apply.
In addition to the information described above, Ohayooo collects:
Ohayooo (greeting) history
Details: Timestamp, sender and recipient
Purpose: Providing the greeting feature
Friend (pairing) information
Details: Identifiers of users you've added as friends, date paired, connection status
Purpose: Providing the friend feature
Invite codes
Details: Codes issued to connect with friends
Purpose: Enabling the friend-pairing feature
Through the "friends" (pairing) feature, the following information is shown to users you've added as friends:
Your display name and profile photo
The date and time you sent an ohayooo
This information is shared with users you have chosen to connect with. Except where you have given your consent, we do not provide this information to any other third party.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app (More → Delete Account). Deleting your account removes:
Your profile information
Your friend (pairing) information
Your ohayooo history
Deleted account data cannot be recovered. Friends you were connected with will see you as "disconnected."
